A split second before I took this first photo, these kids were all clustered together very happy to see each other before school, and Penelope was greeting everyone individually. Then she took off running, and everyone followed. It's so amusing to me, and amazing, that she emerges as a leader at school. Maybe it's because she's so tiny or because she never really gets to be the leader at home. But anyway, she's such a treat. And then we had lunch together after school.
