Last night I had the distinct impression to pull Penelope out of her preschool class. I felt strongly that she needs a lot more time with her mother. We will still have her go to Miss Jo's, but she will spend the bulk of her time with me. I shared those impressions with Chris and he was immediately supportive. I am eager to watch her progress as I make this sacrifice (pulling her out means a lot less alone time for me!) to be obedient to these impressions from the Lord. Chris gave the kids each a father's blessing tonight before bed to start the school year right. In the blessing he told her that the time she will have with me is precious and that she hasn't had enough of it yet. He blessed her that her tongue would be loosed in this school year and that she will be able to articulate better, also that she'll begin writing. I am confident that we will see big leaps and bounds from this tiny lady this year.
