Took Penelope to her evaluation today. She was adorable the whole time. She definitely qualifies for speech therapy and definitely has sensory issues but they are not problematic (nothing we didn't know). Her receptive language age equivalent is 22 months, and her expressive language age is 18 months. She was able to identify 4 body parts and 0 colors, and she is not yet counting independently or labeling shapes. The speech therapist and occupational therapist will start therapy with her here at home in a couple weeks (and they are both so cool). And they're looking into preschool options for her, but I'm still leaning towards taking her to Miss Erica because she does so fine socially, etc. Love love love our tiny girl!
